Can you tell me more about your 99.9% service level agreement?

We are so confident that we can provide you with a stable reseller web hosting solution that we have put our money where our mouth is and are offering a 99.9% service level agreement. This means that if your website is not available on the internet for more that 99.9% of any given month, we will give you back your money depending on how long it is unavailable for. It’s just another way for us to show that we’re serious about our reseller web hosting plans.

Can I change web hosting plans?

You may change to a web hosting different plan at any time. Simply contact us and we will switch you over straight away. There is no switching fee; simply pay the difference in the plan prices.

What happens if I use all of my bandwidth or disk space?

We try and be as lenient as possible when it comes to resource usage. If you exceed your bandwidth or disk space limitations, your account will be automatically suspended, however if you notify us we are usually more than happy to temporarily increase your resource limits while you arrange an upgrade to a higher plan.

Can I use a SSL certificate on my website?

You certainly can. We sell SSL certificates for $80/year, which includes a dedicated IP address for your website. Please get in touch with us to find out more. If you are interested in providing your own SSL certificate, we can provide a dedicated IP address for your website for $3/month.

What is the difference between spam filtering on your Business and Value plans?

Our Value plans employ a number of common and effective techniques to block spam, such as SpamAssassin which checks each e-mail coming in to the server against a set of rules and tries to identify it as spam, and Real Time Blackhole Lists, which will automatically reject an e-mail if it comes from a known bad sender (ie a spammer or spamming network).

In addition to these very effective techniques, our Reseller range of plans employ the help of software such as MailScanner, ClamAV, DCC and Vipuls Razor to effectively stop more spam than ever from reaching your inbox.

Do you back up my web hosting account

Our Reseller hosting plans provide daily on-site backups of your data, as well as weekly off-site backups. This means that your entire website, including website data, e-mail accounts and MySQL databases are backed up locally on the same server in a secure location. Once a week, we copy this backup to a remote off-site location on a secure server at a seperate geographical location. In the very unlikely event of a total server failure we are more likely to be able to restore your services using these off-site backups.

My last host got hacked, how do I know that you are secure?

We employ a number of various security methods to ensure the safety of your data. We use software such as industry strength firewalls and intrusion detection systems to software modules for our web servers to ensure that your data remains as secure as possible.
